The new Direkt gate closing systems for outside gates are now available in Australia from Door Closer Specialist. Delivering more power than the smaller domestic garden gate closers, the Direkt is better suited to commercial or heavy use applications.

The speed adjustable Direkt gate closers can be fitted to security gates to ensure a positive latching action.

Key requirements for Direkt gate closers:

• Gate must not be more than 1200mm wide
• Gate must not weigh more than 80kg
• Gate must not open further than 110 degrees
• Closer installed to ‘pull’ side of gate
• Gate must be flush with the post it is hinged off

Key requirements for domestic garden gate closers:

• Gate must not be more than 1000mm wide
• Gate must not weigh more than 50kg
• Gate must not open further than 90 degrees
• Closer installed to ‘pull’ side of gate
• Gate must be flush with the post it is hinged off

The hydraulic slide arm closers are standard door closers adapted to suit different set-ups and are recommended to be installed by Door Closer Specialists.
