The various products offered by Summerland Energy Efficient Products include solar hot water, heat pumps, sky lights, ventilation, water tanks and thermo panel. The heat pumps offered by Summerland Energy Efficient Products are energy efficient water heater. The working principle of this heat pump is very similar to the operation of refrigerator, but works in a reverse manner.

The heat pumps offered by Summerland Energy Efficient Products contain latent heat energy in air and this energy is transferred to the heating system. The heat pumping system offered by Summerland Energy Efficient Products contains a fan that sucks the air with the help of an evaporator. The evaporator contains a very cold liquid refrigerant that travels through a copper pipe. The air passing through the evaporator contains latent heat that is absorbed by refrigerant.

The heat pumping system offered by Summerland Energy Efficient Products uses a compressor to pull the refrigerant inside to naturally compress the air. The temperature increases when the pressure rises. The refrigerant travels to the condenser from the place where heat from the refrigerant is transferred to water supply tank. The expansion valve of the heat pumping system offered by Summerland Energy Efficient Products provides pressure reduction to refrigerant and the cycle starts again.
