A Vergola opening roof system allows you to maximise the shade in summer and the sun in winter. Regardless of the season, you can get the required shade and sun simply by controlling the louvres.

However, when designing your Vergola, it’s important to consider the best direction for the louvres to run. The best position is based on the direction your house faces; since the louvres should run north to south to maximise control over the sun, they can be placed horizontally or perpendicular to the house.

Vergola (NSW) design consultants review the individual requirements for each property to determine the best option. They can also prepare a 3D drawing to illustrate the achievable shade and sun at different times of the year.
