Kanahooka community playground equipped with Moduplay play systems

Play equipment from Moduplay Commercial Play Systems was installed at the Kanahooka playground in NSW for the benefit of the local community.

Commissioned by the Wollongong City Council, Moduplay supplied and installed a whole range of play systems including a Moduplay Bushwood tower, Sand & Water Play, Moduplay premium swings, trampolines and a SkyRider among others. The Moduplay Bushwood range offered a durable solution for this high-corrosion environment.

Designed to be used by kids of all ages, the park also features sandstone blocks that not only add to the aesthetic but also offer a great place for parents and carers to sit when they visit the playground.

Prior to the supply of the playground equipment, the Council interacted with students from Koonawarra Public School and Koonawarra Preschool to establish a concept to redevelop the popular playground. With the requirements established (“something to swing and climb, trampolines to jump on and waterplay options”), Moduplay was able to supply equipment that met all of their expectations.

Feedback from both the children and councillors indicates complete satisfaction with the redeveloped playground.
