Part of the City Motors Group, Mercedes-Benz Wollongong is a locally-owned and family-operated organisation providing services, tune-ups and mechanical services to hundreds of cars each week, and requiring a high quality and long-lasting flooring solution for its workshop.

Project background

Automotive facility floors are vitally important to not only protect the concrete from contaminants such as oil, dirt, grease and other materials associated with mechanics, but with prestigious owners like Mercedes Benz, the aesthetics and ability to keep the area in pristine condition are also extremely important. The project required a tough, durable and trafficable flooring solution that would stand up to chemicals.

Project requirements

High aesthetics, easy clean, hardwearing and corporate colour scheme were all key areas important to the client.

Sika solution

Utilising Sikafloor MultiDur ET-24 solvent free epoxy system with Sikafloor 264T topcoat, SEF were able to provide a durable, resilient yet aesthetically pleasing flooring solution for the workshop area of the facility.
