Leading Australian equipment hire specialist, Coates Hire has opened a new branch in Karratha.

Coates Hire’s new Karratha branch is a purpose-built facility primarily dedicated to serving the equipment requirements of the local construction, mining, oil and gas sectors in the Pilbara. The Coates Hire Karratha branch has a dedicated service team on board comprising of fitters, mechanics, electricians, sales, administration and service staff as well as operations teams.

The new Coates Hire branch meets the needs of local tradespersons with smaller equipment available for hire including mini-excavators, kangas, trailers, wet-saws, brick saws, and small plate compactors.

Larger jobs are catered for by the branch through a full range of earthmoving gear, lighting towers, generators, pumps, access equipment, excavators, water carts, loaders and other specialist equipment. The hire facility stocks over 10,000 pieces of equipment, worth over $20 million in value.

Coates Hire Area Manager (Pilbara South), Ben Hunter is confident that the new facility in Karratha can handle just about any equipment request from their broad customer base.
