New PILA AFL goal posts replace original PILA equipment at Etihad Stadium

PILA recently supplied new AFL goal posts to Etihad Stadium to replace the original posts delivered by PILA’s Managing Director, Reece Wooldridge in the mid-late 90s when the stadium was built.

Reece has spent more than 20 years in the goal post game, establishing Australia’s largest goal post manufacturing company and catering to clients such as the MCG, SCG, ANZ Stadium and Etihad Stadium.

Etihad Stadium required 15m AFL goal posts with 10m behind (or point) posts. PILA customised the standard 15m/10m Stadium AFL goal posts to suit Etihad’s existing footings to ensure a fast mid-season changeover. Similar to the MCG, SCG and ANZ stadiums, Etihad’s goal posts have a hinged base, making it quick and easy to raise and lower the goal posts at any time.
