Nullarbor Sustainable Timber announces the arrival of their most recent recycled timber acquisition from the St Kilda Pier in Melbourne.

Originally built by early settlers in 1853, St Kilda Pier was constructed from some of Australia’s finest hardwood timbers such as Yellow Stringybark, Red Gum, and Turpentine, and has been an icon in Melbourne for over 100 years.

After successful negotiations, Nullarbor Sustainable Timber was able to secure a large parcel of extremely rare heritage timbers from the St. Kilda Pier.

Nullarbor Sustainable Timber gives such seasoned timbers new life by processing them into beautiful solid timber floors, solid timber benchtops and beautiful dressed timber for creating rare pieces of furniture.
