A celebration of modern luxury and bold design, every detail speaks of a thoughtful concept, from the joinery to the striking features used throughout the space.

Nestled in Cremorne, Sydney, this remarkable sub-penthouse has undergone a stunning transformation. Thanks to the vision of Team2 Architects, it now boasts a design that marries exquisite aesthetics with exceptional functionality. With sweeping harbour views and luxurious details, this renovation sets a new benchmark in modern living.

Bianca Karcher, interior designer at Team2 Architects, explains they were approached by their client to create a moody kitchen. “We wanted to use a clean and concise palette with a dark timber throughout,” she said.

The black aluminium doors with fluted glass inserts introduce a subtle play of light and texture, adding visual interest. The island bench stands out with polytec’s Steccawood battens in Empire Oak Woodmatt constructed in a soft curve, adding a sculptural element.

polytec’s products played a crucial role, delivering not only rich, consistent colours, but also the durability required for a high-use area like the kitchen. Bianca adds, “I’ve been happy using polytec’s products for years – the colour palettes, finishes, and variety are exceptional.”

With its striking aesthetic and thoughtful materiality, the Cremorne project is a shining example of what’s possible when innovative design meets unparalleled products.
