Redstar gets involved in ‘Australia’s biggest morning tea’

Redstar Equipment held its inaugural ‘Australia’s biggest morning tea’ to help raise funds and awareness for breast cancer on May 23rd 2013 at its head office in Rocklea, QLD.

Over 20 Redstar Equipment staff members attended the event and enjoyed a $5 BBQ morning tea, which included bacon, eggs, hash browns and orange juice, in addition to participating in a $2 raffle draw to win a paid day off to help raise extra funds.

Redstar would like to thank all of its employees for their donations.

Redstar was able to raise $387.75 from the event, with the money going towards helping newly diagnosed cancer patients with important information, supporting them through their cancer journey through free exercise programs, funds for transportation to and from hospital for treatments, funds towards the cancer helpline, as well as providing accommodation for patients and their families.

Redstar Equipment is a major supplier of generators, compressors, welders, lighting towers and fuel tanks.
