New Rockwear store secured with ATDC’s quality folding doors

The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) has installed its quality grade folding doors to secure the recently opened store for Rockwear at Midland Gate Shopping Centre near Perth.

RAG is one of Australia’s most successful national menswear retailers with popular brands including Tarocash, YD, Connor, Johnny Bigg and Axle & Co. RAG is also active in the women’s activewear market through its Rockwear label.

Product design specifications

This custom made pearl white powdercoated 10000mm wide x 3300mm high folding door was manufactured from marine grade extruded aluminium sections. The curtain infill comprised 300mm wide stacking panels with perforated mesh infills

A series of intermediate up/down locking mechanisms along the span of the door allows for a seamless and secure product requiring no floor track or removable mullions and almost no headroom. The weight of the door finds support through a continuous overhead structural beam, which spans the full width of the opening.

The door matches the curvature of the angled tenancy line through a 90-degree curve to a 400mm radius.

WestCoast Shopfitting, based in Wangara, Western Australia served as the project managers for this installation.
