S & A Stairs supplied a unique stair solution to the Bastow Institute of Educational Leadership in Melbourne.

The 120-year-old building housing the educational facility is located in Melbourne’s inner suburbs and bridges the gap between the old and the new with its contemporary design, which also won the best facade of 2012 award by the AWCI.

Originally built as a school in 1882 by Henry Robert Bastow, the building is the ideal setting for a forward-thinking educational facility such as the Bastow Institute of Educational Leadership.

The unique stair by S & A Stairs in this heritage-listed building complements the past with its classic balustrading, and also remains contemporary with modern spotted gum steps flooded by light.
