Hettich Australia presents a range of special application solutions that effortlessly bring the ergonomic and design benefits of sliding and folding doors to modern kitchens. These sliding and folding door systems developed by Hettich inspire a wealth of creative ideas for kitchen furniture to deliver practical convenience to the user.

Sliding doors are a very convenient alternative to conventional kitchen storage units where one has to constantly watch out for open doors. Hettich’s WingLine L folding-sliding door system with Push/Pull even opens handleless doors up to a height of 2400mm and width of 1200mm (per door set) almost by itself in response to a light press. It can hide away an entire kitchen block.

WingLine L also demonstrates its capabilities in kitchen wall units and top mounted units. This system can be used to add storage in the smallest of spaces with the assurance of ergonomic accessibility and high user convenience. For folding sliding doors – large or small – the fitting can be provided with soft opening and closing function. With minimal door protrusion, WingLine L also permits the combination of drawers and pull-outs behind the folding sliding door.

Hettich’s SlideLine M sliding door system comes in single-track and 2-track versions. In the single-track version, the SlideLine M makes the dramatic interplay between open and closed segments in furniture an additional design highlight in the kitchen. With the 2-track version, storage spaces can be closed off completely, instantly hiding away contents in the kitchen midway section or wall unit.

The SlideLine M system simplifies 1, 2 or 3-door solutions for overlay or inset doors in different sizes and applications. Featuring a shallow profile that rises to a height of only 8mm and available in a choice of several colours, the sliding door fitting discreetly integrates into the design of the furniture. Silent System is also unobtrusively integrated in the fitting, allowing doors to open and close gently and quietly. If several drawers run in the same profile, a soft colliding element also comes into play.

SlideLine M is suitable for all conventional furniture designs and wooden doors weighing up to 30kg. The single-track application also allows the use of doors in glass or aluminium. Both systems are extremely easy and efficient to install.
