Spantech was commissioned by the Department of Defence, New Zealand to design and construct an ammunition preparation building (APB) to NATO specifications at their Waiouru Army Depot in North Island.

The design features a pitched roof formed with the Spantech 300 Series straight panels.

The panels cover the main entrance and loading area with a single unsupported span of eight metres. Spantech’s straight panel is also used on the external walls and as permanent formwork in select areas of the structure.
