The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) has installed one of its market-leading folding doors to secure the newly opened retail tenancy for Adidas at Spencer St, Docklands in Melbourne.

Product design specifications

This expansive, bi-parting, black powdercoated 11000mm wide x 3300mm high door was manufactured from heavy duty extruded aluminium sections. The curtain infill consisted of 200mm wide stacking panels with clear polycarbonate.

Multiple up/down locking mechanisms allow for a secure product, requiring no floor track, removable mullions or headroom. An overhead support beam supports the weight of the door.

The door followed the curvature of the angled tenancy line through two 90-degree curves to a 600mm standard radius.

The project managers for this installation were the Dandenong South-based Associated Projects.

Folding door warranty

A 12-month warranty against defective materials and workmanship applies.
