Toughened glass in TCK Solar panels withstanding 25mm diameter hail

TCK Solar uses high quality solar panels featuring specially engineered toughened glass that can stand up to harsh environments.

The extremely tough, highly transparent white glass used in the panel is 4mm thick, about 30% thicker than any of the competitor panels manufactured in China. The toughened glass can easily withstand the direct impact of 25mm diameter hail falling at a speed of more than 80 km/h.

By virtually eliminating sunlight reflection, the self-cleaning glass surface helps to maximise power output.
