ADVANTAGE polyethylene pipes from Tyco Water - Plastic Pipeline Systems are high strength pipes that are suitable for conveying all types of liquids, slurries and gases.

Common applications for ADVANTAGE piping systems include:

  • mineral slurry pipelines
  • sewer rising mains
  • reuse water
  • effluent transportation
  • submarine pipelines
  • irrigation; and
  • mine water supply.

The preferred jointing method for these polyethylene pipes is heat fusion, so butt fusion and electrofusion equipment is required for installation, as polyethylene cannot be jointed with adhesive or solvents.

ADVANTAGE polyethylene pipes also feature a range of beneficial properties, such as:

  • corrosion resistance
  • chemical resistance
  • smooth bore
  • abrasion resistance
  • weather resistance
  • high flow rate
  • light weight for easy installation
  • flexible; and
  • high impact strength.
