Between 283 and 47BC building with columns was a tradition. This continued through Greek and Roman times so Unitex decided to develop a column for today’s specifiers and builders that are quick and easy to install.

Unitex Uni-Shape architectural columns are made with a coating of pure resins and cementicious minerals over a lightweight centre. These columns are strong but lightweight and easy to install in load and non load bearing applications. For load bearing applications a 100mm x 100mm steel or timber post needs to be used.

Uni Shape architectural columns have a number of different designs and bases. Available in standard, tapered or fluted designs, the columns arrive ready to use in a standard grey cement finish.
