Project design specifications
Key challenges that were overcome on this architect-specified project included traversing a custom designed radius curve as well as a stepped counter height. Security was achieved through a series of up/down locks, which provide lock up without the need for any floor track to the countertop. A continuous overhead support beam was required to attach the aluminium extruded head track and suspend the door weight of approximately 12kg per square metre.

The maximum height for our curved doors is 4500mm while the maximum span is unlimited.
These unique folding doors provide ventilation and airflow through the mesh infill in addition to maximum through-vision. They fold out of the way and out of sight when not in use so as to be almost invisible.
Specifying architect
The specifying architect for the project was Brand Architects located in East Melbourne, and the Sunbury-based Ayjay Construction served as the project managers and builders.

Colour range
The doors installed on this project were supplied in a standard black satin powdercoated finish. Pearl white is also a standard powdercoat finish whilst special colours within the Dulux Duralloy range are available at an additional cost and lead time.
Warranty
A 12-month warranty against defective materials and workmanship applies.
