Stylish commercial folding doors deter break and enter at LJ Hooker’s Alice Springs outlet

The stylish range of commercial folding doors from The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) provides a deterrent against break-and-enter whilst also preserving the customer-friendly appeal of the premises they are protecting. They are almost invisible when unlocked and folded back into their storage space on either side of the opening.

ATDC recently installed their commercial folding doors for national real estate group LJ Hooker at their Alice Springs outlet in the Northern Territory.

Project design specifications

These steel manufactured folding doors retract sideways and out of sight so as to be almost invisible, thereby maximising the display of merchandise during trading hours. When locked and closed at night, they provide a formidable deterrent with their steel mesh infill curtain. A number of different locking options are available to secure the installation. 

These doors are suspended using industrial grade carriage wheels from a heavy duty extruded aluminium overhead track, which in turn is supported by a secure overhead support beam that runs the full span of the opening being secured.

The doors installed on this project were supplied in a standard satin black powdercoated finish. Pearl white is another standard finish, although any other colour in the Dulux Duralloy powdercoat range is available on request.
