ATDC’s trackless expandable gates secure Café Hilton storefront near Adelaide

Expandable gates from The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) have been installed to secure the Café Hilton shopfront at the Hilton on Sir Donald Bradman Drive near Adelaide in South Australia.

Project design specifications

There was no easy method of securing this tenancy since there was no adequate structure to support the installation of traditional top hung door systems. A servery counter installed in the path of the lease line at one end of the storefront provided additional challenges. 

ATDC was able to overcome these difficulties through the installation of trackless expandable gates, which did not require any structural supports and so provided the level of security required by the customer. Wall-mounted locking was used to secure the systems together with intermediate drop bolts installed along the span of the gates.

These cost-effective expandable barriers are ideal for restricting access in shopping centres, kiosks, pop-up shops, food courts, arcades, shopfronts, temporary tenancies, sports stadiums, showrooms, warehouse loading bays and public buildings including airports, railway stations, bus interchanges, construction sites, and OH&S WorkSafe areas.

The barriers were powdercoated in a standard black satin finish.

Warranty

A 12-month warranty against defective materials and workmanship applies.
