An expanded range of Micro-Brite cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL), available from ANL Lighting , are shining new light on the outlawed incandescent lamp replacement market and are setting new standards in power, efficiency, and longevity.

The cold cathode lamps range from 5W to 15W (the equivalent of incandescent lamps 15W to 60W) and shine just as brightly, but consume less wattage and use up to 80% less power.

The Micro-Brite range of cold cathode lighting is distributed throughout Australia by ANL Lighting and is rated from 18-25,000 hours. This is four times longer than Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) and five times longer than incandescent lamps.

The 15W Micro-Brite cold cathode lamp is a popular dimmable fluorescent lamp, and has an output of 750 lumens. The 15W Micro-Brite cold cathode lamp will replace incandescent lamps in dimmable applications that require more light output than lower wattage CCFLs.

The cold cathode technology used in the Micro-Brite allows it to dim to 10% of its light output without flickering. The 15-watt Micro-Brite dims with consistent 2700K colour and will not shift colour when dimmed, like incandescent lamps.

Micro-Brite cold cathode lamps are practically the same shape and size as incandescent lamps as can be used in almost any interior or exterior application where incandescent lamps are used. This includes Hollywood or Las Vegas style perimeter signage lighting. The cold cathode lamps are flashable and dimmable to 10%.

Typical applications for cold cathode lamps include general and track lighting, signage, exterior, table lamps architectural and accent lighting.
