Stonesheet™, a stone wall substrate from Innova™, was used as a backing for Hard as Rocks stonework to create a contemporary feature element on both sides of the front entrance to this Urban Homes show home in Aotea, Wellington.

Designed specially as a substrate for residential interior and exterior applications, Innova™ Stonesheet™is recommended for both stone walls and true masonry applications on timber or steel-framed buildings. The flat, square-edged Stonesheet™ comes as 9mm-thick panels.

“We needed an affordable and realistic looking alternative to real stone and Stonesheet™ met the full requirement as it is an integral part of the BRANZ appraised Hard as Rock system. We chose to specify only Stonesheet™ as it has been tested with both the stone and adhesives and can rely on the quality it provides,” said Brett Tap of Urban Homes.

“Stonesheet™ enabled us to add the beauty and texture of stonework to the home. It definitely enhanced our show home. Another benefit of Stonesheet™ is that it provides an excellent stable back for the stonework.”
