The newly completed Qanstruct Headquarters in Kew, Victoria, designed by Bruce Henderson Architects is a cutting-edge workspace that strikes a balance between functionality, aesthetics, and environmental consciousness.

At the heart of this landmark fitout is the three-storey-high grand lobby, a striking entryway that sets the tone for the entire headquarters. To enhance both acoustics and visual appeal, SUPAWOOD supplied SUPAMICRO acoustic panels, chosen for their ability to deliver superior sound absorption without compromising on style.

SUPAMICRO’s micro-perforations are designed to control reverberation, effectively reducing noise in large and open spaces. By integrating these panels into the grand lobby, the design achieves an inviting and acoustically comfortable atmosphere, ensuring that the space remains both impressive and functional. This is particularly crucial in high-traffic areas where controlling sound is essential for maintaining a sense of calm and professionalism.

To complement the sleek and modern aesthetic of the headquarters, the SUPAMICRO panels were also supplied in a high-end timber veneer finish, delivering the warmth and richness of natural timber while offering precision detailing and durability. The fine perforations are subtly integrated into the surface, ensuring that the panels maintain their seamless and natural appearance.

As sustainability was a key driver of the Qanstruct fitout, SUPAWOOD’s environmentally responsible manufacturing processes aligned perfectly with the project’s eco-conscious vision. The SUPAMICRO panels are made from sustainable materials, contributing to low VOC emissions and better indoor air quality. Their long-lasting construction ensures minimal maintenance while supporting Qanstruct’s commitment to reducing environmental impact.
