Delivering clean, safe water with advanced filtration technology

Zip Water announces that its MicroPurity 0.2-micron filters (models 93701 and 93702) have achieved certification for removing 99.4% of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), commonly referred to as ‘forever chemicals’.

This breakthrough reinforces Zip Water’s commitment to delivering the highest quality drinking water solutions for homes and workplaces.

PFAS are synthetic chemicals that have raised global concerns due to their persistence in the environment and potential health risks. The certification of Zip’s MicroPurity filters to reduce PFAS provides customers with full confidence that their Zip HydroTaps deliver clean, safe water – free from the contaminants making headlines.

“At Zip Water, we understand that our customers rely on us to provide safe, high-quality drinking water,” said Mike Abbott, Managing Director ANZ, at Zip Water. “This certification reinforces our commitment to maintaining their trust and ensuring our products meet the most rigorous standards.”

In addition to PFAS reduction, Zip MicroPurity filters are certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 (Aesthetic Effects) and 53 (Health Effects), ensuring superior contaminant reduction. The filters remove up to 99.9% of contaminants such as microplastics, asbestos, chlorine taste and odour, sediment larger than 0.2 microns, and lead, and inhibit bacterial growth, delivering the best possible drinking water experience.

“We are always thinking about our customers’ needs and are proud to offer solutions that address emerging issues like PFAS,” Abbott said. “By staying at the forefront of water safety technology, we can continue to provide the best possible hydration solutions.”
