The list of the world’s healthiest cities have seen Asian cities dominating the rankings, closely followed by Europe and North America.
Travel Supermarket calculated the world’s healthiest cities based on a few key criteria: number of spas, gym and fitness centres, yoga and pilates centres, health food shops, vegan option restaurants, parks/green space, average sunlight hours and cost of a one-night stay.

- San Francisco, United States
- Lisbon, Portugal
- Denpasar, Indonesia
- Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Copenhagen, Denmark
- Milan, Italy
- Nice, France
- Doha, Qatar
- Washington DC, United States
- Tel Aviv, Israel
- New York City, United States
- Johor Bahru, Malaysia
- Macau, Macau
- Las Vegas, United States

While the United States has the most cities (six) in the top 50, achieving a top ranking is perhaps more impressive for smaller countries like Thailand and Greece, which respectively have four and three cities in the list.
As far as the top five go, spa experiences, access to healthy food and green spaces are some of the factors that propel these cities forward.
Australia is the only continent that is not featured in the list.
