Nettletontribe to design $200M business and lifestyle hub for South Sydney

Dexus has engaged architecture firm Nettletontribe to design a premium ‘life-work-life’ hub comprising of creative office suites, retail stores, hi-tech industrial spaces, storage units, and food and beverage offerings covering a total area of 24,300 square metres.

The Lakes Business Park in suburban Botany will undergo a $200 million transformation into a mixed use precinct called the Botany Quarter, with space offered for industrial, commercial and lifestyle businesses to set up shop.

The spaces will be distributed across three buildings including two adaptive reuse buildings with flexible configurations for the offices, retail stores and restaurants, and a new building for the industrial and storage units.

The Botany Quarter rejuvenation is part of Dexus’ $4.2 billion development pipeline that will see the company develop some of their key inner-city landholdings.

Dexus CEO Ross Du Vernet says that the Botany Quarter development will reinvigorate the south Sydney area and create a much-needed lifestyle precinct similar to The Grounds of Alexandria, to benefit both workers as well as the local community.
