A family-owned and operated winery has been named National Building Design of the Year at the 2016 National Building Design Awards.
Designed by MG Design & Building, Chrismont Winery in Victoria combines a mixture of concrete, stone, wood and glass creating a light and inviting contemporary interior.
The project was awarded the prestigious honour at the recently held NABD National Conference held on the Gold Coast recently. A total of 26 awards were handed out, including the hotly contested residential category prizes which were won by Maxa Design, Chris Clout and Gary Keen.
Hosted by the National Association of Building Designers (NABD), the awards were established in 2013 to promote and develop the building design industry and the work of its professionals.
