Incredible photographs of buildings and urban landscapes from all over the world are being showcased as part of the 2017 Sony World Photography Awards.
Architecture is one of 10 categories in the professional competition organised by the World Photography Organisation, which celebrates the best photography in the world from the past year.
Eight architecture photographic series have been shortlisted in the architecture category, with entries from all corners of the globe including Romania, Italy, USA, China, France, Germany and Hungary.
They include sets of images of a brutalist-designed hotel in Hungary, a refugee camp in Northern Iraq, and neon-signed brothels in Greece, among others.
Winners of the overall competition will be revealed on 20 April at an awards ceremony at Somerset House in London.
