Architeam announces a new seminar for architects and building designers in March 2016, covering important design and planning considerations for setting up a green roof.
To be presented by Pip Hildebrand from Do It On The Roof on 17 March 2016 in Melbourne, the seminar will look at the functioning of a green roof; explore key design elements, structures and types of green roofs; explain how to design a green roof and water cycle; provide tips for getting the project through planning; and detail the safety and maintenance aspects of green roofs.
The seminar will also cover the practical side of installing a green roof, as well as case studies of existing gardens from around Australia and internationally.
This seminar provides two formal continuing professional development (CPD) points on completion of a written questionnaire after attending the session.
