Time is running out for architects, designers, specifiers and students to participate in the 2012 Dulux Colour Awards with entries closing on 10 February, 2012.
The 2012 Dulux Colour Awards recognise the inspiring use of colour in design, and are given across eight categories, including four new categories in the Residential Interior and Exterior Awards — Single Residential Interior, Multi Residential Interior, Single Residential Exterior and Multi Residential Exterior.
These join the Commercial Exterior, Commercial Interior, Sustainable Interior and Student categories to be judged by four top names in the Australian and New Zealand design industries.
This year’s judging line-up includes award winning architect, Peter Maddison; colour guru at Colourways, Kim Chadwick; stylist and founder of www.thedesignfiles.net, Lucy Feagins; and, Jeff Fearon, a principal and co-founder of the award-winning Auckland architectural practice, Fearon Hay.
Aside from the acknowledgment that comes from winning, each category winner will receive AU$1,500 in prize money and a trophy. All entries also stand the chance of taking the coveted Grand Prix award, receiving AU$2,000 cash, a trophy plus a trip to an international design fair.
Information and details on how to enter can be found at www.dulux.com.au/colourawards.
The winners will be announced at a gala function in March 2012.
