Perth Builders, Jade Projects, have won two national HIA Boral GreenSmart Awards in Canberra for their 8-star house display home.
The 8-star house won the Energy Efficiency Award and the Project Home Award. The house, constructed in double brick, was designed in partnership with Think Brick Australia to showcase the importance of solar passive design and thermal mass in construction and energy efficient housing.
The home also featured numerous water saving features and was visited by 4,500 people during the five months that it was open to the public as part of the Revolution Road sustainable display village.
