Vision Water has recently released the WaterCell to the Australian market after three years of prototype R&D.
It is an engineered, high volume rainwater harvesting, storage and reticulation system and an integrated on-site detention (OSD) system. WaterCell technology integrates the operational functions of urban water supply and stormwater management.
The Vision Water product is wholly contained within the building footprint and is not externally visible, but remains fully accessible for maintenance and inspection. It is manufactured from material which is USFDA and EU Directive compliant for use in contact with food and drinking water.
A single WaterCell has nominal measurements of 6m x 4m x 70 cm deep and has a volume of 16,000 litres. Any number of cells can be combined in a series, governed only by the floor plan of the building. The WaterCell can supplement mains water use by 50 per cent or more.
