The refurbishment of the Accor Vacation Club Apartments located at the Grand Mercure Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast is now complete, delivering great design combined with environmental efficiencies.
All 16 refurbished apartments have brand new tiles, carpet, kitchens and bathrooms, furniture and curtains, and new appliances.
Environmental awareness is a key consideration in the design of the apartments, with the continued reduction of in-room appliances through the use of smart technologies, and water and energy efficiency.
All electrical items meet a desired energy rating and all lighting has been converted to energy efficient LED and fluorescent systems for a lower carbon footprint.
Fittings and fixtures suppliers, GWA Group Limited has successfully taken part in the upgrade, supplying its products and services for the kitchens and bathrooms, including water efficient flush systems and reduced flow tapware.
The Caroma Liano Above Counter Vanity Basin and The Caroma Metro Fall Faced Toilet Suite are both featured in the bathrooms. The toilet suit has low profile chrome plated buttons, an ultra quiet fast filling cistern and includes the 4-star WELS rated, Caroma Smart flush water saving technology as well.
The bathrooms also feature the new Dorf Jovian Rail Showers which reduces water use and has a 3-star WELS ranting forwater efficiency. This is matched with the Dorf Jovian Basin and mixers and bathroom accessories.
Dorf Jovian Sink Mixer have been incorporated in the kitchen and paired with the Clark Razor Sink, which features sound absorption pads.
