The Parc Kellyville project is a Sunland Group development of two storey family terrace homes located in Memorial Avenue, Kellyville NSW.

The development commenced in February 2012 with Stage One now completed and completion of all three stages scheduled for early 2014.

With an expected target of 197 townhouses to build, it was crucial that the products being used allow the developers to adhere to time constraints.

CSR’s Hebel systems were specified for the project as it was believed the products would be faster to build with and require significantly less labour. Hebel PowerPanel have been selected for use on the external walls and Hebel Blocks are being used in the external blade walls of the townhouses.

The project called for good acoustic insulation, particularly as the construction involves townhouses and therefore closer living.  The Hebel products being used in the development provide acoustic performance levels which are rated over and above the required standards for this building type.

The Hebel PowerPanel system is narrower than standard brick veneer, which will allow a small increase in room space in each of the homes to be achieved. It also met the requirements of the developer’s design brief by achieving a modern, architecturally appealing look, with a quality rendered finish.

Hebel PowerPanels feature effective thermal insulation qualities which are said to increase energy efficiency and the level of comfort in the homes, as well as the potential to help cut home energy bills. The PowerPanels were awarded the 'Good Environmental Choice Australia Label' (Heb-2006).

Sunland National Housing Manager, Mr Riaz Rezvani said they had been using CSR Hebel products over the last 6 years in the construction of approximately 1,800 homes in their housing developments in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
