Flowcrete’s Flowfresh flooring system uses the natural power of silver to fight bacteria at ground level and is being used in a wide variety of cases to aid hygiene performance across flooring areas in the food and hospitality industry.
Flowfresh is a seamless polyurethane resin floor finish, which contains the Polygiene compound.
A special additive in Polygiene is locked into the Flowfresh resin matrix and emits silver ions which kill bacteria. Polygiene is capable of controlling salmonella, E-coli and many other types of bacteria and yeast on contact.
David McNeece, Business Development Manager of Flowcrete Australia Pty Ltd, which has offices in Queensland and New South Wales, said “Flowcrete’s Flowfresh seamless resin polyurethane flooring is perfect for the tough and uncompromising demands of the food and beverage processing sector.”
“It is also ideal for use in areas including dairies, bakeries, industrial kitchens and catering units, as well as wet and dry processing zones.
Flowfresh also offers slip, wear, temperature and chemical resistance, and is suitable for steam and hot water cleaning processes.
“It ultimateltly helps diary, food and drink processors achieve high sanitation standards and the maximum in cleanability and hygiene,” David added.
