Responding to the needs of the construction industry, Royal Wolf has developed a range of stock products specifically designed for construction projects.

By having shipping containers readily available to be used as hoardings, gantries, construction site offices, change rooms, first aid rooms, and ablution blocks, the company attempt to provide a rapid response solution.

Recently the company provided shipping containers for just that reason at the AW Edwards Chatswood Civic Place operation in Sydney. Double-stacked shipping containers were placed above a steel gantry allowing for pedestrian access in a narrow workspace, whilst providing amenities including a lunch room, change room, ablution block, and first aid room for over 200 workers.

National building and construction manager of the company, Andrew Strachan, said, “With construction site space at a premium, we have seen a growing demand from within the industry for a greater range of logistic solutions. The adaptability, speed of delivery, portability and cost effectiveness of our products are key to their increasing demand.”

Mr Strachan goes on, “We have so much more to offer the construction industry than just storage. The solution we provided for AW Edwards is just one of many, but does demonstrate the functionality of our containers. We continue to strengthen our partnerships with building contractors across the country and are seeing a steady increase in demand as the potential for shipping containers is realised.”
