Moving to two floors in a newly refurbished Sydney building, ClearView set Valmont the brief to create an office environment that both integrated staff and reflected the company’s brand values.

Valmont worked closely with the client’s branding team to design meeting spaces, breakout and client areas, using colour, shape and finishes to ensure the whole area functioned efficiently as a working environment, combining both form and function.

A 2.5 metre stairwell was constructed to the two floors, offering not only practical access each level, but also serving as a focal point in the office. In keeping with the client’s desire for simplicity, the stairwell was constructed using a contemporary blend of wood, glass and metal.

Valmont chose to utilise the underlying space of the stairwell, transforming it into an informal meeting area. Adding bright statement seating, a wooden floor and shaped partitions created an efficient and inviting space.

The area open-plan casual break out area includes moveable walls, allowing the space to open out into a larger room which functions as a kitchen, boardroom and training room.

Valmont chose to separate the meeting areas and team work spaces with half height partition walls to subtly divide up the space.

In addition, Valmont ensured adherence to appropriate sustainability practices to ensure the fit out’s in 4-star Green and 5-star NABERS ratings.
