Architects Kerstin Thompson (Principal, Kerstin Thompson Architects) and Ken Maher (Chair, Hassell) have been appointed to the newly established Built Environment Industry Innovation Council (BEIIC), to champion innovation in the industry.
Senator Kim Carr, Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research described members of the BEIIC as "talented leaders and champions across the sector who are doers as well as thinkers.
"They will advise the Government on the industry's innovation issues and priorities and foster collaboration between stakeholders and Government," said Carr.
Thompson and Maher are members of the Australian Institute of Architects.
