Boral has launched Heathstone Regal — a split-face retaining wall system.

The large-faced retaining wall block with a bevelled, rock-face texture comes in a natural, blended sandstone colour. It can be used for a variety of applications, including steps, medium height walls and bordered gardens, and is dry- stacked, compared with similar products which require mortar.

Heathstone Regal is available in NSW only and comes in the extra large size of 440 mm x 280 mm x 220 mm. A corner unit and a series of capping units are also available.

Boral Masonry has also intro duced Manhattan, a new DIY retain ing wall system. The product comes with perfectly cut corner pieces and does not require a capping unit. It can be built up to 584 mm high and features a horizontal core design — eliminating the need for blocks to be filled vertically with concrete.

Available in Victoria only, Manhattan comes in both standard (200 mm x 225 mm x 146 mm) and corner (88 mm x 225 mm x 146 mm) units. It also comes in two landscaping colours — Portstone and Charcoal.
