Adriana Cerantonio, CSR Design Studio Manager, provides insights into PGH Bricks and Pavers trends for building, colour and design.

Adriana believes that selecting an appropriate brick colour is a vital part of a house as it sets the tone for textures and design.

“Currently orange is a prominent hue that we are seeing in colour and design, and varying shades of orange are coming through from vibrant tangerine to natural terracotta tones. Simultaneously, blues and greens, as well as warm white shades are trending. It is important to note that the recycling of materials and natural timbers are extremely popular building materials used with these colours”, she said.

Adriana suggest, “this year in 2012 we will see many influencers with gold’s, greens, timbers, blues and rich autumn hues setting the tone as the most prominent colours for building and design.”

In addition, “Bricks are being blended together or laid in a unique way to draw attention to the façade of a building. The lasting nature of a brick makes it a popular material for many multi res projects,” said Adriana.

With trends constantly evolving, PGH has recognised the need to create a Base range which fits within the design characteristics of the modern home. They have released new colours and products for 2012.
