The Build & Design Queensland expo will be opening at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in less than four weeks, from 9 — 11 May.
“We have over 120 leading industry suppliers, from ace stone + tiles, Bosch, BlueScope Steel and Warwick Fabrics to niche insulation and outdoor design suppliers showcasing products and ideas from around Queensland and Australia,” said Exhibition Manager, Michael-William Kelly.
“In addition to showcasing new products and suppliers, we have organised the Live Seminar Stage… We’ve also created the Hot Seat which gives visitors the chance to quiz some of the most recognised names in Queensland and Australian design, building and construction about their projects in a Q&A format,” he said.
Proposed seminar topics include the ‘Refurbishment of Hotel’s by Rohrig, ‘Lunch and Learn’ with the Queensland Government, Energex’ Building to a 6-Star Rating’ Panel Discussion, ‘Tropical Green Building’ by Total Project Group, UDIA ‘EnviroDevelopment’, ‘Importance of Lighting in the Design Process’ and a DIA Design Panel.
