Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings, will be held in Bologna, Italy, September 29 to October 3, 2009. Exhibition sectors will include: ceramic tiles; sanitary installations; tiled kitchens; raw materials; equipment for ceramics; and materials and tools for installation.
Building Dwelling Thinking will aim to broaden the cultural offerings of ceramic tiles and bathroom furnishings. The title, borrowed from the text by Martin Heidegger, is an invitation to architects and designers to reflect on the theme of dwelling and of building, which in the philosopher’s words, “is the stay of mortals on the earth”.
The seminars of Building Dwelling Thinking will be held in a dedicated space, with the idea of the gallery to create an area devoted to professionals where they can obtain complete information on the show’s range of commercial offerings, gain new creative ideas and discuss issues relating to design techniques.
