Taubmans has released a brand new colour card showcasing 116 colours the company believes will feature prominently on home exteriors, trims, garden feature walls and courtyards.

And while housing styles vary from State to State, the Taubmans exterior colour card ensures a palette of hues that can create the perfect colour combination for any architectural design and medium, be it brick, timber, render or metal.

There are dozens of warm earthy tones from golden ochres to slatey greys and lichen greens; beautiful beachside blues, weathered greens, sands and seagull greys; and a sophisticated palette of urban steel greys, chocolate purples and deep blues.

Many of the Colorbond® colours have also been added for those homeowners who want to match surface colours with existing pre-coated metal fixtures.

The tool within the colour card is the colour isolator — a perforated sheet that tears off to provide a white background in which to view any of the colour chips. This ensures all colours are viewed accurately and not tainted by adjacent colour chips.

All exterior colours from the new colour card can be used in either of the Taubmans exterior paints — Sun Proof Max, an extremely hard wearing, weather-resistant exterior paint that carries a 12 year guarantee against peeling, flaking and blistering, and All Weather, a premium quality water-based acrylic with Titan UV Shield for durability and resistance to fading and degradation.
