Property and construction consultancy Davis Langdon, an AECOM company, has appointed a new Building Engineering Services Leader in Australia and New Zealand.
Martin Andrews, a cost manager with more than 23 years experience, will build on Davis Langdon’s engineering services capability to assist clients with budgeting project costs.
Mr Andrews established the company's Engineering Services Cost Management business in Ireland and has worked on several projects including Dublin’s 400-bed Children’s Hospital and the A$770m Dublin Airport Terminal.
“By developing a building engineering presence in Ireland, Martin has played a key role in helping our Europe and Middle East business capitalise on exciting project opportunities, including the King Abdullah Financial District in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh,” said Davis Langdon’s Managing Director in Australia and New Zealand, Mark Beattie.
Mr Andrews has specialised in major projects in the healthcare, education, transport, infrastructure and industrial sectors and taken a lead role in mechanical and electrical and sustainability services.
He will be based in Melbourne after relocating from Ireland.
