ENDUROFRAME steel framing is a new BlueScope business launched to license technology and sell rollformers to third party businesses who manufacture light gauge steel frames for both the residential and light commercial markets.
The ENDUROFRAME building system consists of the ENDURO rollfomer, a specialised high speed, all-in-one steel framing rollfomer, and a proprietary steel framing software system called ENDUROCADD.
This system is the culmination of over 15 years of BlueScope Steel’s research and development in the design and development of steel house framing, rollforming and design software.
“The ENDURO rollfomer is capable of producing all the steel sections required for trusses and wall frames, and only requires three gauges of TRUECORE steel for standard, non-cyclonic conditions,” explained Paul Jones, Business Manager, Steel Framing.
“Meanwhile the ENDUROCADD software system creates strong, reliable truss designs which are self-certified for standard conditions. It is the only steel framing software package to be entirely self-certified and audited in accordance with the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) Protocol for Structural Software. This removes the need for a structural engineer to sign off on most designs, and as a result saves money,” he added.
The ENDUROFRAME building system is sold to builders and fabricators through a series of licensed manufacturers and fabricators.
