DesignBUILD Exhibition Director, Frank Matus believes that the 2013 Sydney expo will raise the benchmark for industry trade shows, with a dedicated Future Living showcase and workshop set to be major features.
Held over three days at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre from the 8 – 10 May, the exhibition will take seven months to organise and two days for over 250 exhibitors to build.
“We’re excited to bring the DesignBUILD expo back to Sydney for what we hope is the biggest and best expo yet, with all the information, innovation and inspiration the design, building and construction industry needs for a more sustainable, productive and profitable future,” said Mr Matus.
“In addition to our successful features such as Innovation Alley, Tool Demonstrations and the Seminar Series, in 2013 we will launch one of the most exciting, interactive and innovative features ever – Future Living,” he said.
The DesignBUILD Future Living feature has been created in conjunction with sustainability leader Cameron Rosen and will be an exclusive area showcasing innovative products and solutions to demonstrate how to work and combine different products to produce a home for the future.
“Future Living is the first feature of its kind that doesn’t just bring together relevant suppliers and manufacturers but integrates them into a display that showcases how they can best work together, in conjunction with workshops and seminars hosted by Cameron Rosen and suppliers.
“Combine the Future Living feature with the rest of the industry leading show features and DesignBUILD 2013 marks its place on the trade and professional calendar as the place to gather information from leading industry associations, see new products and experience real life applications of new innovations,” added Mr Matus.
This year, the Sydney 2013 DesignBUILD expo has already attracted the attention of principal partner Austral Australia with Business Development Manager for NSW and Qld James Natter saying it was an easy decision for them.
“Austral Australia wanted to step above our competition and promote ourselves in a truly professional manner, making the decision to partner with one of the leading exhibition forum specialists DesignBUILD an easy one.
“As principal partner of the 2013 DesignBUILD, we know that forward thinking industry trades and professionals will have the opportunity to take in all that Austral Australia has to offer,” he added.
