GWA Bathrooms and Kitchens has launched a new edition of the Care Technical Manual, which complies with the new AS 1428.1 2009 Australian Standard.
The new Care Technical Manual covers the complete range of products available from Caroma, Fowler, Stylus, Dorf, Irwell, Clark, Hansa, Virtu, Schell and Sanitron brands, which are specifically designed for aged care, disabled and independent living applications.
Products featured in the manual are designed to meet the new AS1428.1 2009 requirements and includes backrests, sole occupancy basins, compliant basins and tapware, blue and grey seats and buttons and ambulant suites within an extensive Care portfolio.
The manual is divided into two distinct sections; Independent Living Products which have been designed to help people remain in their own home longer, and Australian Standard 1428.1 compliant products that are suitable for installation to comply with AS1428.1-2009 Design for Access and Mobility.
It includes all technical information to assist the industry when specifying GWA Kitchens and Bathrooms products.
The Care Technical Manual will be available in September and can be downloaded from the Caroma website www.caroma.com.au.
