The modular heroal D 92 UD aluminium door system has been recognised for its design and versatility.
The heroal D 92 UD door system, unveiled in January 2013, has received the universal design award 2013 in the category “living”.
The aluminium door system is said to have won over the panel of judges with its design, durability and versatility.
The judges based their decision on the award’s criteria, which included easy, flexible and intuitive use, marketability and potential, innovation, sustainability, and eco friendliness.
The innovative modular door system was designed to adapt to a variety of residential needs and offers architects, suppliers and manufacturers planning freedom and production security.
“Alongside demographic developments and increasing life expectancy, people’s demands on their environment are also changing. Our goal was to develop a door system that meets all its users’ needs over an extended period of time,” explained Konrad Kaiser, CEO of heroal.
“Receiving the universal design award proves that we have lived up to the award’s high demands in terms of aesthetics, economy and the system’s expandability and adaptability,” he added.
