The Australian Building Codes Board, in partnership with the Australian Construction Industry Forum, is seeking feedback from the industry about where the ‘Building Control’ Supply Chain could be enhanced.
A Control’ Supply Chain graphic has been designed specifically for an industry survey, to illustrate the interdependencies that exist between key building control functions.
The key segments of the building system are listed sequentially and respondents are asked to nominate where they believe a feature can be enhanced.
The survey has been designed to develop some national perspective to where the opportunities for enhancements exist, and provide a mechanism, if considered necessary following the outcomes of the survey, to engage with the responsible institutions.
The Australian Building Codes Board says enhancements to the supply chain have the potential to provide a more efficient industry, improve productivity and compliance and deliver better outcomes for the community.
The survey will close on 2 August 2013.
